Dr. Patel is a board certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in upper extremity and trauma. His passion for Orthopedics was cultivated during his residency at the University of Southern California. While at University of Southern California, he trained with the leaders in all fields of Orthopedic surgery. He worked at Los Angeles County Hospital, one of the busiest trauma centers in the world.

Upon graduating residency, he then completed a Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at University of California, San Diego. It was here that Dr. Patel developed skills in fine detail and surgical technique including microvascular surgery and nerve and tendon repairs.  He also completed training at Columbia University on microvascular surgery. Dr. Patel has presented in numerous national conventions including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Association of Hand Surgery (AASH), and Doctors Demystify. He is a member of American Academy Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).

Dr. Patel prides himself on providing individualized attention on each patient he treats.
